Sales Administrator/Sales Representative

Monitech, Inc. has an immediate opening for a sales administrator.  This is an entry level position for the right person to move into medical equipment sales over time.

Applicants must have a strong administrative background to include Microsoft Office applications.  Quickbooks and ACT experience is a plus.  Pleasant phone manner and outgoing friendly attitude are a must as well.

The position will start as a sales administrator working from our offices in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Primary duties will be to work with the office manager to learn the basic operations of the business.  We feel that it is important to know how things work from the ground up.

During this time, you would work with the sales representatives in a support capacity by helping to prepare for demonstrations, maintaining the customer database, preparing quotations and making initial phone calls to identify business in the different territories.  Hours would be from 8-5 M-F.

After about 6 months or so, you would be working directly with the sales representatives as a trainee.  By shadowing our successful sales reps, we feel you will learn faster and be ready to go on your own in the Albuquerque area.  Upon completion of training, you would be assigned a specific demographic in the Albuquerque area to help you increase your sales experience.

Eventually, if you are successful, you would be given your own territory (depends on where available) and might be required to relocate within the SW region of the United States.

Please inquire further only if you are qualified and serious about entering this challenging field.  Beginning salary range is $10 - $12 per hour plus commissions.

Please email your resume with cover letter to Larry@monitechinc.com for consideration.
